A day after the horrific stampede in Bengaluru, a heartbreaking scene came to light when the family members of the dead were mourning their departure. On Wednesday, a large number of fans were busy celebrating the victory of the first historic Indian Premier League (IPL) of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), but a deadly stampede turned it into a mourning, which lost 11 people. A similar case came to light when a father appealed to the authorities not to do post -mortem of his son, who was killed in the accident.
The father can be heard crying in front of the media on the camera, saying- “At least give me his body. Don’t do the post-mortem. Don’t cut his body in pieces. I had only one son, and now I have lost him. He had come here without telling me. Now the Chief Minister and the Deputy Chief Minister can come, but no one can bring him back.”

The son has been identified as Bhowmik and was also one of the 11 people killed in a stampede outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium near Vidhan Sudha. Bhowmik was a student of BE and a big fan of RCB.
While talking to the media’s father, he further says, “I have never been away from him for an hour. I have raised a only son. I have brought him up for 22 years and now I am watching him dying on the streets due to your attitude. I did not know that he came here. Please hand over my son’s body.
How did stampede occur in Bengaluru?
Suddenly a huge crowd gathered in the celebration of RCB’s victory. Amidst increasing enthusiasm, there was chaos on the stadium, especially on the narrow entry point. Eyewitnesses said that the race to go inside created a stampede. By 5 pm, the huge form of the tragedy was revealed.
The main causes of the stampede were poor coordination between RCB and state authorities, much crowds, water poor preparations and low axis points were not controlled.
The crowd gathered at this event was much higher than the ability of the stadium and the expectations of the organizers. With the death of 11 people, dozens of people were injured and were taken to nearby hospitals.
The officials conducted a post -mortem of all the dead by Thursday morning and handed over the dead bodies to their families. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has ordered an inquiry into the default responsible for the stampede. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivkumar apologized, saying, “It was a crowd full of youth and enthusiasm. You cannot control them with sticks.”
