Bengaluru Stampede: ‘No one took a selfie after a stampede …’; Siddaramaiah erupted on Siddaramaiah when comparing the Bengaluru accident – No one Took a Selfie after Bengaluru Stampede BJP Lashes Out at Siddaramaiah for Comparing to Mahaha Kumbh 20255

Bengaluru stampede news: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized the Congress government of Karnataka for celebrating the victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the deaths in the stampede in Bangalore. BJP has demanded that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Home Minister G. God take responsibility for this incident. Meanwhile, the BJP did not like Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to mention the deaths in Mahakumbh, speaking on the death of 11 people in the Bengaluru stampede. Union Minister Prahlad Joshi said that the tragedy and Mahakumbh stampede of Wednesday (June 4) is “incomparable”.

Prahlad Joshi blamed the Karnataka government for the incident and demanded the accountability to be fixed. BJP MP from Dharwad Lok Sabha seat in Karnataka, Joshi said in a post on X, “It is heartbreaking to see such damage due to poor planning and mismanagement of the crowd.” He alleged that the state government of Karnataka had clearly failed to fulfill its responsibility. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has announced a magistrate inquiry into the incident.

Apart from this, Joshi told NDTV that the state cannot escape responsibility by comparing them. He said, “Kumbh and this is incomparable. When the police refused to give permission, why did you force him? According to Joshi, the Kumbh tragedy was handled with sensitivity. He said, “No one was taking a selfie. There should be a judicial inquiry. The government should answer. It is extremely condemnable.”

BJP national spokesperson Shahzad Poonawala blamed the state government and blamed the state sponsored negligence for killing the people. He said, “The atmosphere of celebration has turned into a tragedy … Home Minister (G. Parmeshwar) should take responsibility for this. The Chief Minister (Siddaramaiah) should take responsibility for it.”

Poonawala alleged, “This state sponsored negligence, state sponsored insensitivity, state sponsored murder.” Another BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari accused the Karnataka government of criminal negligence.

Bhandari said, “Innocent people lost their lives in a terrible stampede. All this happened because the Congress government could not handle the crowd. There is no plan, no responsibility, no accountability. It is not just misrule, it is criminal negligence.”

What did Chief Minister Siddaramaiah say?

Siddaramaiah addressed a press conference, in which he announced compensation for the families of those killed and free treatment for the injured.

“Such incidents have happened in many places. I am no longer going to defend it by comparing them, saying that it happened here and there. 50-60 people were killed in the Kumbh Mela, but I did not criticize it. If Congress criticizes it, it’s a different thing. Did I or the Karnataka government criticize?” The Chief Minister asked.
