Washington. The two most popular names in American politics and technology- Donald Trump and Alan Musk are now seen standing face to face. At one time, these two veterans, who openly praise each other, are now seen distance from each other on the public platform. It started with a sharp criticism of Allen Musk’s Donald Trump’s policy bill, in response to which President Trump also expressed his displeasure. Trump said that ‘Alan and me had good relationships before. But now I do not know whether we will be able to live together or not. I am very disappointed. He said this while talking to reporters at the Oval office. At the same time, Musk claimed a big claim that without his help, Trump would have lost the presidential election this time. The root of the dispute is Trump’s Economic Policy Bill, which is being considered a central policy for his second term. This bill includes manufacturing and tax relief to energy companies and some regulatory measures. Wall Street and Republican Party are supporting this bill, but Musk criticized it on social media as ‘disgusting’. Trump says that Musk knew everything about this bill, and he never objected. At the same time, Musk denied it, saying that ‘lies, this bill was not shown to me even once and was passed so fast in the darkness of the night that almost no one in the Congress could read it!’ Donald Trump also said that there has been no conversation between the two since the criticism of Musk. Trump also suspects that Musk may give a personal statement against him later. Significantly, Musk participated in his business advisory committee after Trump became President for the first time, but resigned in 2017 due to disagreement on climate change. Later, the relationship between the two again got warm, when Trump described Musk as ‘talented’ and Musk supported Trump’s social media return.
Now, when this new conflict has come to light, Musk has made it clear that it is not private but policy disagreement. He tweeted that ‘it is not personal. This is a policy. Good policy promotes innovation, impaired poor policy. At the same time, Trump said at the end of his statement that ‘the door is not closed, but the warmth has definitely reduced. We will see. This statement shows the rift between the two, but this story is not over yet.
