He is undergoing treatment in the hospital but the condition is critical. The incident took place on Saturday evening local time. The police have arrested the 15 -year -old accused attacker from the spot. Local media says that Uribe has been hit by 3 bullets, one of which is reported to be in his head.
The presidential elections are due in 2026 in Colombia. Miguel Urbe is considered to be the chief contender for the presidential president. 39 -year -old Urribe is a member of the opposition Centro Democratico Conservative Party.
