The aid ship is being brought to Israel after being intercepted
Israel’s Foreign Ministry has said that a ship carrying humanitarian aid for the Gaza Strip has been stopped and “safely making its way on the coast of Israel”.
The ministry said on X that passengers are expected to return to their home countries to include Swedish climate activist Gita Thunberg.
The ministry said, “While Greta and others attempted to staging a media provocation, the only purpose of which was to get the promotion – and included less than the single truck load of aid – 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel within the last two weeks.”
The statement said, “Small amounts of assistance which was on the boat and will not be consumed by ‘famous celebrities’.”
The Freedom Flotila alliance, which the organization launched Madeline, has accused Israeli officials of “kidnapping” people on the board.
In a series of posts on Telegram, the group stated that “came under the attack in the said” international water and that the Israeli forces sprayed the vessel with a “white ititant substance” before the Israeli forces “illegally” riding on the ship.

Surrounded by Madeline Quadcopters, Freedom Flotilla Classes says
The Freedom Flotila alliance responsible for the Madeline boat carrying assistance for Gaza stated that it was a “attack in international water”.
The Freedom Flotila alliance said on its telegram channel, “Quadcopter is around the ship, spraying it with a white bottleneck substance.”
“Communication is blocked, and disturbing sounds are being played on the radio.”
The group then said that the Israeli army had “boarded the vessel.”
Israel’s Foreign Ministry said that Israeli was communicating with the naval aid ship, calling it a “selfie boat”.
The Ministry said on X, “Using the International Civil Communication System, the Israeli Navy has directed the” Selfie Yott “to change its course due to its approach to a restricted sector,” the ministry said on X.
The post included a video, which was shown to declare the following message to the Israeli official: “The maritime area of the coast of Gaza is closed for naval traffic. It is part of the naval blockade. If you want to provide humanitrian aid for Gaza strip, you want to provide a humanitarian aid for Gaza strip, then you through the port of Ashdode through the installed channels …”
