Poland Scrambles Jets after Russian Strike on Ukraine
Poland on Monday yearned to secure its airspace as Russia launched hundreds of drones in Ukraine.
Warsaw’s operational command said in a statement on Facebook, “Due to an intense air strike by the Russian Federation in the field of Ukraine, the polish and affiliated aircraft began working in the morning Polish airspace.”
Poland is one of Ukraine’s closest colleagues and members of NATO.
It has reported violations of its airspace during previous Russian attacks.
In March 2024, Poland reported that a Russian cruise missile violated its airspace and demanded clarification from Moscow. A similar incident occurred in December 2023.

Ukraine targets electronic schemes in the Chuvasia region of Russia
A Ukrainian drone strike in Russia forced a temporary suspension of production at an electronics company in the Volga River area of Chuvasia, said the head of the region said.
“This morning, attempts were revealed to use drones in Ukrainian Chuvasia,” the regional governor Oleg Nicolev wrote on Telegram.
Moscow reported that the intercepted drone fell at the facility of debris, while Ukraine said there was a direct hit on the site.
The factory is from 1,300 km (800 mi) from the Ukraine-Russia border and, according to Kiev, “Attacks specialize in the manufacture of drones, directed aerial bombs and navigation devices used in high-failure weapons.”

Ukraine says Russia launched the drone overnight.
Russia has launched that Ukrainian officials are calling the biggest drone attack since the onset of the war, firing a record 479 drone.
The Ukrainian Air Force says it successfully intercepted or shot 460, out of which 19 out of 19 missiles were launched during overrage.
It launches a large -scale aerial bombing acrein over the weekend after Russia, which appeared as vengeance for recent attacks on its air locations.
Moscow has intensified attacks in recent weeks as a ceasefire talks stall.
