After the shocking arrest in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case and his wife Sonam allegedly involved, some new twists are coming out in the case. The shocking information received from the Raja’s post -mortem report has exposed the cruelty of the crime. According to Herbert Piniad Kharakongor, Head of SIT’s SIT, the king suffered two deadly injuries on his head, which may have been killed with a sharp weapon. Kharakongor said, “The post -mortem stated two head injuries with a sharp weapon.”
A senior Uttar Pradesh Police official said on Monday that Sonam Raghuvanshi, wife of the late king Raghuvanshi, was found near a dhaba on Varanasi-Ghazipur Main Road. Talking to the news agency ANI, SIT chief and SP (City), Eastern Khasi Hills, Kharakongor also stated that their team is about to reach Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh, where they will arrest Sonam, who had surrendered before the UP police today.
The initial post -mortem report found that King Raghuvanshi, a businessman from Indore, was attacked twice – once behind his head and once in front. Due to which the king died. Its conspiracy was hatched by his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi, her lover Raj Kushwaha and others when both of them were on their honeymoon in Meghalaya.
The SIT chief said, “The first challenge was the area and then the weather, but finally we accepted the challenge and recovered the body of the king, registered a case of murder and started an investigation. Four people have been arrested and they will be produced in the respective courts. We will take their transit remand to bring him to Shillong. Our team will reach Ghazipur and formally arrest Sonam and take his transit remand.”
SIT Chief said, “We created SIT with competent authorities in the case. Last night we sent two teams, one Uttar Pradesh and the other Madhya Pradesh. The pattern is telling that there were no good contacts between Raja and Sonam, but it is a matter of investigation.”

Indore Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP) Rajesh Dandotia said that 25 -year -old Sonam was allegedly in a relationship with Raja Kushwaha. Kushwaha allegedly hired Vishal Chauhan, Anand Kumar and Akash Rajput to kill King Raghuvanshi.
Dandotia said that Sonam, who was caught in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh on Monday, supported the plan and shared his location with the three killers.
