The police investigation in the Meghalaya Honeymoon murder case has exposed a conspiracy that everyone was shocked to hear. The murder of Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi was not an anger for a moment, but a planned plan – which was prepared secretly by his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and her lover Raj Kushwaha. According to sources, Sonam and Raj first met in their office, where the two worked together. But for not doubting his relationship, Raj started addressing Sonam in front of everyone by calling Sonam “Didi”. This innocent address was actually a mask – a face that was being used to hide the truth of their relationship.

Two numbers, two SIM cards … and a dangerous plan!

Police came to know during investigation that both used separate and secret SIM cards for their personal conversation. His aim was that no one could see their phone records in a family or office, and their love and murder plot were never seen in call details.

Honeymoon made excuse for murder

Sonam and Raja were married on 11 May. On 20 May, both of them left for Meghalaya Honeymoon. And then … suddenly both missing. On June 2, the king’s body was found in a deep ditch. His head was attacked with a sharp weapon – in probably from ‘Dow’ (traditional Gorkha Macheti). The body was identified with the “raja” tattoo on the right hand of the king and a smartwatch tied on his wrist.

Police got shocking things from the spot:

  • Strip of tablets
  • And smartwatch

Sonam was sending a location of every step!

Police suspect that Sonam was continuously sending her location to Raj through WhatsApp calls, so that she could monitor the entire incident. Another shocking fact came to light that when there were reports in the media that Sonam had fled to Bangladesh, Raj breathed a sigh of relief – because he felt that no one would doubt now.

According to the police, the weapon used in the murder was “Dow” ordered online from Guwahati.

On the morning of 9 June, Sonam handed over herself to the police at a dhaba in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Now he is behind bars, and the real story of his life – love, deception and murder have come in front of the country. However, the real inquiry will now be done by the Meghalaya Police, who is investigating this whole case. For this, the state police has taken him to Shillong.
