Trump says that American personnel are being transferred from the Middle East.
US President Donald Trump said American personnel were being taken out of the Middle East due to fighting nuclear talks with Iran, threatening to derail the security situation.
“He is being well taken out because it can be a dangerous place,” Trump told reporters in Washington.
“We have given notice to go out and we will see what happens.”
Asked how tension can be dialed in the region, Trump again said: “They may not have a nuclear weapon, very simple. We are not going to allow it.”
According to reports, the US embassy in Iraq was preparing for a partial withdrawal with permission for voluntary departure from Bahrain and Kuwait.
The state department on Wednesday updated its world’s travel advisor showing the latest developments. “On June 11, the state department ordered the non-eclipse US government personnel to depart due to regional tensions,” the advisor said.
Trump has repeatedly threatened to attack Iran if interactions on their nuclear programs and interacting on the flat.
The US President said on Wednesday that he was less confident that Tehran would agree to prevent uranium from enriching, which is American demand.
Iran’s Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh on Wednesday that if Iran was attacked, it will retaliate by killing American bases in the region. The US has military grounds among others in Iraq, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.
