The Foreign Policy of Germany in the Middle East always includes a delicate balance act – a balanced act that just became a little more difficult. The Israeli attack on Iran this week is likely to put more pressure on Germany’s close ties with Israel.

Israel supports Germany
The Israeli government is defending its latest strike against Iran, saying that it was working “for the danger of existence”. Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katj called it a “pre-futile strike” as Iran was close to the development of an atomic bomb, some wanted to stop Israel from being.
The German government is seen sharing that opinion. Growing criticism of Israel
