Operation Rising Lion: Before nothing left … Iran’s Israeli attack on Donald Trump’s ‘US First’ agenda examination

Washington. Just hours before the Israeli attack on Iran early Friday, US President Donald Trump hoped that the long -running dispute over Tehran’s nuclear program could be resolved without military action. Now an Israeli military campaign called ‘Rising Lion’ has started – about which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that “it will last for a certain period”. And thus this will be another test of Trump’s election promise to keep America separate from the conflicts between other countries.

Trump said in a post on social media on Friday morning, “I gave Iran many opportunities to bargain. I told him in strong words, do this, but no matter how close he has reached, no matter how close they have reached, they could not complete it.”

On the Israeli attack, the first response of the Trump administration came not from the US President, but from Foreign Minister Marco Rubio, who is also his National Security Advisor. He tried to clarify that America was “not included” and the main concern of the Republican Party government is to protect the US Army in the field.

Rubio said in a statement, “Israel told us that he believes that this action was necessary for his self -defense.” The statement said, “President Trump and his administration have taken all necessary steps to protect our forces and are in close contact with our regional partners. Let me make it clear that Iran should not target American interests or personnel.”

However, when Israel planned attacks in recent weeks, Iran indicated that America would be held responsible in the event of an Israeli attack. This warning was given by Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Aragachi, while he was interacting with Trump’s special envoy Steve Vitkoff on Tehran’s fast growing nuclear program.

Trump appealed to Iran on Friday to signed a nuclear agreement, “Save it before anything left and ever known as the Iranian Empire.” The US President said, “No more death, no more destruction, just do it, before it is too late.” Trump is going to hold a meeting with his National Security Council in the ‘Situation Room’ on Friday, so that the difficult path ahead can be discussed.

Iranian officials clarified that they intend to retaliate with decisive action, as the Israeli attacks targeted top nuclear scientists and officials along with the main enhancement center and ballistic missile program of the country at Natanz, Iran. Senator Tim Cain said, “I am not able to understand why Israel attacked at this time, while he knows that this weekend is scheduled to have a high -level diplomatic discussion between America and Iran.”

In a conversation with reporters, the President appealed to Iran again to interact on the agreement. He warned that “big struggle” in West Asia could be sparked without it. Later, he emphasized on social media that his “entire administration has been instructed to interact with Iran”. West Asia Program Director Rosemary Kelanik in ‘Defense Puruses’ said that further work for Trump and his team is to protect American forces, which is at a high risk of Iranian retaliation.
