A Chinese citizen was arrested by the Thai immigration police while trying to board a flight to Singapore. The man, identified as Tianwei, 39, was being sought for his alleged involvement in a fraud with cryptocurrencies valued in more than six million dollars (USD), which occurred in the province of Chiang Rai, Thailand.
The arrest occurred on the morning of June 12 at the Don Mueang airport in Bangkok. According to informationagents deployed in the international departures terminal intercepted Tianwei before he approached the SL100 flight of the Lion Air airline for Singapore.
