Minnesota Governor Tim Walz said American Democratic politician Melissa Hortman, a former state house speaker, and her husband was killed in a politically outstanding shooting.
Walz announced on Saturday, “My good friends and colleagues, speaker Melissa and her husband, Mark were killed early this morning.”
Another legalist, the state senator John Hoffman and his wife Yett were shot and injured in a separate attack, the governor said.
