Heavy Rain Alert: The heat continues to wreak havoc in the entire North India including the capital Delhi. People have increased difficulties due to strong sunlight and humidity. The scorching sun and heat stroke have made it difficult for people to get out of their homes. Due to the scorching heat, the temperature in the capital has reached close to 45 degrees Celsius. The mercury is going up continuously to UP, Bihar, Rajasthan including Delhi-NCR. Meanwhile, a big update has surfaced about the monsoon.
Relief from heat in Delhi
After the scorching heat in Delhi for four consecutive days, there was some drop in temperature on Friday. Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Orange Alert’ and predicted the storm and rain on Sunday late evening. Talking about the monsoon, the monsoon can now reach the rest of the Central and Eastern India by June 18 and some areas of northwest India. At the same time, it is likely to move in most parts of northwest India between June 19 and June 22 in Delhi.
There may be strong rains in Il areas
The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for Kannur and Kasargod districts in Kerala on 15 June, where there is a possibility of very strong rains in the next 24 hours. Apart from this, Yellow alert has been issued in many other parts of the state, fearing heavy rains and thunderstorms. People have been advised to be vigilant and take precautions related to weather. According to IMD, light to moderate rains may occur in most parts of Kerala and Mahe in the coming seven days. From 15 to 16 June, there is a possibility of very heavy rainfall in some places. Also, on 15 June, strong winds can be blowing at a speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in Kerala, Mahe and Lakshadweep.
Clouds can also rain in North-East states
Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Rayalaseema and Telangana may rain with thunderstorms at some places between 15 and 17 June. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunderstorms in the interiors of coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Karnataka on June 12 and 13. On 15 and 16 June, thunderstorms are expected to occur in Konkan and parts of Goa. There is a possibility of rain in many places in Northeast India for the next seven days. Arunachal Pradesh may receive strong rains from 15 to 16 June, while southern Assam and Meghalaya from 15 to 18 June. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are also expected to have heavy rainfall at some places till June 15. People have been advised to be vigilant and follow the weather -related warnings.
