Meanwhile, anti -trump demonstrations were also held in many cities of America. In New York alone, around 50,000 people took to the streets and raised slogans against the President. But at the time when the soldiers were echoing in Washington, the slogans were left behind.
The scene was the most emotional in the last part of the parade, when 250 new soldiers took oath of service to the President.
