The Income Tax Department started an investigation into a tax evasion case in Kochi, Kerala. On Wednesday morning, the Income Tax Department officials in Chennai’s Anna Nagar rode in three vehicles and reached the ‘C-Shell’ restaurant and started investigating the papers. Along with this, other branches of the restaurant were also raided in Velachary and Duraipakkam. There are also reports that the team of Income Tax Department is also searching the houses of the restaurant owners. The authorities have taken action together on different locations by dividing eight teams to accelerate their investigation.
