IDF, in its official statement, described it as action on “military infrastructure”. Meanwhile, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has shifted himself to a safe bunker in view of the ever -increasing threat. According to a report by The New York Times, Khamenei has given priority to his safety and has decided the names of three senior clerics as a potential successor.
The report also stated that Khamenei has also started selecting new names to replace its top military officers killed in Israeli attacks recently. Unlike earlier speculation, Iranian officials have clarified that Khamenei’s son Mojtaba has not been elected as a successor. In addition, Khamenei is very apprehensive that he may face a threat of murder from Israel or the US.

Israel killed three big commanders of Iran
The Israeli army has said that it has killed three senior Iran’s senior military officers in an air strike. These include a commander who was responsible for military coordination with Hamas. According to the Israeli army, fighter jets attacked near the city of Iran, killing Saeed Isadi. He was the head of the Palestine Unit of the Quds Force in Iran.
