A unique case of property purchase and sale in Bengaluru is in discussion. The sale took place 19 years ago and now the current owners are facing trial. That too on behalf of the daughter of the property seller. The case is such that a person sold a property 19 years ago for his daughter’s marriage. Now the daughter has sent a legal notice to the current owners of that property. He says that 19 years ago the property was sold without his consent.

This case has come into the limelight through a redit post. The current owner of the property has shared its information on Reddit. The owner says that his father bought a disputed plot in 2006 in BBMP i.e. Brihat Bangalore Municipalities Municipality Jurisdiction. The sale was done directly by the then the original owner of the plot, there was no scene of the Power of Attorney. Plot buyers have paid property tax on regular basis after purchases.

All the legal documents are correct but now 19 years ago, the daughter of the plot that sold the plot is seeking compensation. He claims that he was not consulted at the time of sale of the plot. Seller’s son’s attitude is out of comprehension

The attitude of the seller’s son in this case is beyond the understanding of the current owner of the plot. Initially, the son called it a family matter and told the current owner of the plot that by mutual consent they are trying to resolve the matter. Then after a few months, his stand changed and said that the family will now take legal action. It was revealed in recent times that Seller’s son is trying to ‘out of court settlement’. He wants the Bayer’s family that his sister, that is, to compromise on the seller’s daughter and should not be adopted. He has also said indirectly that if the decision comes in favor of his sister, what would the legal advisor have assured the buyer that he has a strong case and he can adopt the appropriate legal process.
