  • Differences on Iran emerged between Trump and Gabbard.
  • Trump misunderstood Gabbard’s intelligence.
  • The world has an eye on the intervention of America in the Iran-Israeli war.

The rift between US President Donald Trump and his National Intelligence Director (DNI) Tulsi Gabard has now come out openly about the Israeli Iran war. This crack is about Iran’s nuclear program. Trump publicly termed Gabbard as ‘wrong’ and said that if the US intelligence agencies believe that Iran is not making nuclear weapons, then ‘they are wrong’.

In fact, Trump had arrived at a fundamental program in New Jersey and the media asked him about the testimony given to Gabbard’s Congress. Gabbard said in it that the American intelligence community believes that Iran did not actively become nuclear weapons. Reacting to this, Trump said, “I don’t care what he said, I believe that Iran is very close.”

Gabbard gave clarification…

Gabbard later clarified through social media posts that his statement was removed from the context and it is an attempt to create a partition. He said that the US has such intelligence signs according to which Iran can reach a position to prepare nuclear weapons in a few weeks or months, if it takes a final decision.

This spicy retaliation of Trump has come at a time when the White House is going to decide within two weeks whether the US will intervene direct military intervention in the ongoing war between Iran and Israel. However, on Friday, Trump also indicated that it would be ‘very difficult’ to stop Israeli’s bombing on Iran, due to which the expectations of the possible ceasefire seems to be wandering.

When so much oil, why the need for nuclear power?

By the way, you will remember that Trump was seen taking a stand against ‘Endless War’ in his election campaign. However, after becoming President, now he is seen in a very aggressive attitude. He said, ‘If someone is winning, it is a little difficult to stop it.’ He also questioned Iran’s nuclear power objectives, saying that ‘when you have one of the world’s largest oil reserves, why do you need nuclear power?’

Gabbard was the first critic of Trump. However, she is now considered close to her. Dissatisfaction within the White House regarding Gabard seems to be increasing. A senior official said that President is unhappy with Gabbard’s recent social media posts, in which he told the world on the ‘verge of nuclear destruction’ and convicted the ‘political elite class’. Trump considered this video an indirect criticism of his Iran-policy and many senior advisors described Gabbard’s statement as ‘off message’.

However, both Gabbard and White House have tried to underestimate this public differences. Gabbard said that he and President Iran are ‘on the same page’. Since the beginning of Gabbard’s term, she has been making major changes in the American intelligence community, but questions are being raised on her leadership way. Some career officials say that Gabbard is mostly on social media and TV, but their association with day-to-day operations is not clear.
