Baal aadhaar card: Aadhaar card is required in the child’s school admission, health services and investment schemes. Child Aadhaar card is issued by the Government of India for children under 5 years of age. It is a specific 12 -digit identification number, linking to the child’s mother or father’s base.
What is hair base?
Child Aadhaar card is the Aadhaar document issued for children under 5 years of age. Biometric information (fingers and eyes scan) is not taken from children of this age, as this data is not completely stable. Only the child’s picture, name, date of birth and parents’ information are recorded in the card.
Where is the hair base formed?
You can get a child base by visiting any authorized Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Many government and private hospitals also have Aadhaar enrollment facility at birth, where birth certificates and Aadhaar are made simultaneously.
Which documents will be needed?
Some special documents are necessary to make a child base:
- Birth certificate of a child issued from the hospital or a child received from the municipal corporation.
- Aadhaar card of one of the mother or father.
- Mother or father’s mobile number for linking and updates from Aadhaar.
What is the application process?
- Go to the nearest base center with children and documents.
- Fill the information of the child in the enrollment form given there.
- Attach the photocopy of all the documents and give it to the employee.
- A picture of the child will be taken at the center there.
After the process is completed, a nomination slip will be given, which contains the enrollment number. With this you can check the status online.
In how many days the hair base is formed?
After completion of the enrollment process, the hair Aadhaar card is sent by post to your registered address within 60 to 90 days. Information about the arrival of Aadhaar number is also sent to your mobile number. You can also download it from UIDAI’s website.
What is the fee for making hair base?
The hair base is completely free for children under 5 years of age. No fee is charged for any enrollment or procedure.
When the child turns 5 years old, he will have to go to the base center to get a biometric update again, so that his fingers and eye scars can be updated. This update is also completely free.
