Relief from humid heat
In Delhi, IMD issued a yellow alert and has predicted a strong thunderstorm and rain from June 23 to June 27. Due to rain, Delhi will see a slight drop in temperature. Delhi’s temperature on Monday is expected to be 27 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is 35 degrees Celsius. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a Yellow alert in view of the possibility of light to moderate rain, thunder and lightning till 26 June. Although the rain will not be the same every day, but the good thing is that there is no possibility of running the heat this week.
The monsoon will reach the next two days
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Sunday that the southwest monsoon can reach Delhi and its surrounding areas in the next two days. If this happens, this time the monsoon will come before its fixed time before June 29. Last year, the monsoon reached Delhi on 28 June. This time in June, Delhi got relief from the scorching heat. It has been only seven days in the whole month when the temperature went above 40 degrees Celsius. The hottest day of this month was June 12, when the temperature reached 43.9 degrees Celsius.

IMD said, “The weather is completely favorable for the south-west monsoon to spread to Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and the rest of Delhi. It can also cover the rest of Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and the rest of Jammu in the next two days.” The Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued an orange alert on heavy rains in Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura and Uttar Pradesh from 22 to 26 June.
Monsoon is moving fast
The southwest monsoon has maintained a good speed since knocking in Kerala on May 24 this year. On Sunday, it reached most parts of Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and the entire region of Ladakh, most of Jammu and Punjab. Now the northern border of monsoon is passing through Jaipur, Agra, Rampur, Dehradun, Shimla, Pathankot and Jammu.
