During this time people have been advised to take precautions as strong winds can run at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour. In some places this speed can reach 60 km per hour. Along with this, there is also a possibility of lightning shining and thunderstorms. The Meteorological Department has appealed to everyone not to stay in safe places, do not get out without need and pay attention to the latest information related to the weather.

Alert of heavy rain in many states of the country

The Meteorological Department of India (IMD) has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall in many parts of the country between 23 and 29 June. People have been appealed to be vigilant and to be cautious.

Where can there be heavy rain

Heavy rains are expected in different parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, and Haryana from 25 to 27 June. At the same time, on 23, 24, 28 and 29 June, eastern Uttar Pradesh may receive heavy rainfall. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Uttar Pradesh, and eastern Rajasthan till 29 June. At the same time, 27 June Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand may receive very heavy rainfall. On 23 and 24 June, very strong rains are expected in some areas of western Madhya Pradesh.

During this period, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in many areas of Madhya Pradesh. Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh may also receive heavy rains at different places till 27 June. On 25 and 26 June, strong rains are expected in Vidarbha region and continuous rains in West Bengal.
