Washington/Moscow. Russia and America have come face to face with Iran. Two superpowers of the world are ready to fight. Russia’s President Vladimir Putin said on Monday that the participation of the powers from outside the Middle East in the conflict with Iran is taking the world towards a big danger. Along with this, he again supported Iran, who was getting entangled with American and Israel. On the other hand, the US has also made it clear that it will not make any change in its policy regarding Iran. He said that his diplomacy from Iran will continue.
Putin repeated Moscow’s stance on Iran-Israeli conflict
Putin, aired on television, said in the initial address of the meeting that Aragchi is visiting Russia at a time when the situation has deteriorated a lot when “in the region and around your country”. He reiterated Moscow’s stance on the Iran-Israel struggle. Russia’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the US attacks and said that Iran is aware of the security council and Moscow stance in the United Nations.
Putin said that on the orders of President Donald Trump, the major nuclear installations of Iran have been attacked. He said, “This is a fully unprovoked attack against Iran, which has no basis or justification.” The Russian President told Aragachi, “We have long -term, good and reliable relations with Iran. We are trying to help the Iranian people on our behalf.”
Russia and Iran have signed a strategic partnership treaty, but there is no provision of military assistance in the event of an attack on any party. However, it is the responsibility of Iran and Russia under the treaty not to take the attacker’s side and join the political dialogue immediately to fix the situation.
America warns Iran not to increase military action
US caretaker Ambassador to the United Nations, Durthy Xi, at an emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), reiterated President Donald Trump’s warning, saying “any direct or indirect attack of Iran against Americans or American military bases will be strictly responded.” He said in the Sunday meeting convened by Iran that the US has taken this step to protect Israel and American citizens to prevent Iran from receiving nuclear weapons as Iran spreads ‘misleading’ things about its nuclear weapons program and ‘did not allow goodwill efforts to succeed in recent talks’.
