Ukraine says Russia has launched more than 350 drones

Russia launched a total of 352 drones and 16 missiles overnight to target the Ukrainian sector, “general employees of Ukrainian Armed Forces said in a social media post on Monday.

The statement said, “The main direction of influence is the city of Kiev.”

Ukraine President Volodimier Zelansky said that the attacks have 159 Russian-Irani Shahd drones.

“Overall, 352 drones were launched, including 159 martyrs overnight,” he wrote on X.

Zelansky said that preliminary reports indicate the use of ballistic weapons from North Korea.

The information could not be verified independently.

Alleged attacks allegedly started at 8 pm on Sunday at 8 pm (CET) at 7 pm.

The General Staff said the Ukrainian defense forces canceled the air strike.

Five kiev killed in ‘massive’ attack

At least five people were killed in Russian attacks overnight in and around the Ukrainian capital.

Ukraine on Monday designed the drone and missile strikes as “massive”, the authorities reported injuries and fire scores in residential areas.

“Another massive attack on the capital. Possibly, several waves of enemy drones,” a statement by Tayamur Takachhenko, the head of Kiev’s military administration.

The scene posted by Ukraine’s state emergency service showed rescue people to protect against several structures, as the fire was burnt.

Four people on the list were killed in a district with Kiev of Shevchenkivsky, where the entire entrance of a high-growth residential building was destroyed, posted on Telegram by Ukraine’s Internal Minister Ihor Clemenco.

Clemenco said that six out of 10 districts of the city were damaged.

A 68 -year -old woman was killed in an aerial bombing in a wider Kiev area, her governor Mycola Kalashanik said in a statement.

The commander-in-chief of Ukraine, Olexander Surski, a day after the attack, vowed to increase the attacks on Russia.

There was no immediate comment from Russia on the attack.
