According to the US Think Tank The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), more than 40,000 US troops are currently deployed in the Middle East, many of them on ships. During the increase in the rear part of tension between Israeli and Iran, the number of soldiers is slightly lower than in October.

So far, Iran is limited to its rather symbolic attack on Al-Fooded. The number of casualties survived as Tehran has already alerted the United States, and missiles were clearly stopped by air defense.
