Washington. US President Donald Trump on Tuesday took a tough stand on Israel and Iran and expressed displeasure over the violation of the ceasefire. Trump said in a warning tone that the action of the two countries could break the hard -gained ceasefire on which it was agreed on Monday night.
He said, “I saw that as soon as we reached the compromise, Israel made the biggest attack. As never before. I have never liked it at all. I am not happy with Iran. I had given them 12 hours, finished everything within an hour.”
Earlier, Trump had clearly warned Israel on his social media platform Truth. He said, “Israel, don’t drop the bomb. If you do this, it will be a big violation. Call your pilots back, now!”
Late Monday night, Iran fired six missiles at American military bases in Iraq and Qatar, further increased tension in the region. The Iranian media named this operation as Vijay’s announcement. However, the US Patriot missile defense system intercepted most missiles and had no major impact on Qatar’s bases.
