The Israeli Air Force attacked a site in Iran after a phone conversation between US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to the Times of Israeli report, this small attack on the Iranian radar site in the north of Tehran, despite the implementation of a ceasefire, came after Iran’s two ballistic missiles on Israel this morning. Earlier today, Trump had directed Israel not to bomb Iran and warned that if they do so, it would be a major violation.
Donald Trump wrote, “Israel. Do not drop this bomb. If you do this then it will be a big violation. Call your pilots immediately!” The US President then spoke to Netanyahu. During the call, the two leaders allegedly agreed that Israel would attack a “symbolic” target in response to Iran’s ceasefire violation.
Later in a post, Trump said that Israel would not attack Iran, but “friendly aircraft will wave.”
Trump posted, “Israel is not going to attack Iran. All the aircraft will return and the friendly” plane wave “towards Iran will return home. No one will suffer no harm, the ceasefire is in force!”
Before a conversation with Netanyahu, Trump accused Iran and America’s close associate Israel of violating the ceasefire declared late Monday night.
The President told reporters at the White House, “Both countries have been fighting for such a long and so long that they do not know what they are doing, do you understand it?”
Speaking to reporters at the South Lawn of the White House while leaving for the NATO summit, Trump said, “Iran violated the ceasefire, but Israel also violated it.”
He said, “So I am not happy with him. I am not happy with Iran either. But if Israel goes out this morning, I am really sad.”
He said, “I have to calm Israel. As soon as we compromised, Israel came and dropped so many bombs, as I have never seen before.”
