Castor prices have increased in Mehsana Mandi these days, due to which the farmers cultivating it are getting good benefit. The most inward of castor is being seen here. Today, 1,079 sacks have come to the mandi to sell. The highest price of castor was Rs 1,325 and the lowest price was Rs 1,250 per 20 kg. Castor prices have increased by 10 to 20 rupees as compared to last week and tomorrow.

In the mandis, not only castor, but crops like mustard, millet, wheat, celery and Rajka are also being sold in large quantities. Today 140 sacks of mustard came, with the highest price of Rs 1,221 and the lowest price was Rs 1,171. Farmers have also received good prices of millet, celery and Rajka.

The maximum price of castor in Mehsana has reached ₹ 6550 per quintal and the minimum price has reached ₹ 6540 per quintal. The average price was also around ₹ 6545 per quintal, causing good income to the farmers.

Millet prices

The maximum price of millet (pearl millet) was recorded at ₹ 2285 per quintal on 23 June. This sentiment was beneficial for the farmers.

Mustard price

The maximum price of mustard was ₹ 6025 per quintal on 24 June. This also gave good profits to farmers who grow mustard.
