1,435 murders have been committed in the state in the first five months of the year. This is more than doubled compared to any other state. According to the Attorney General’s office, five more people were killed in different incidents across the state on Tuesday. Last month, seven people were killed in a firing targeting a party organized by the Catholic Church at San Bartolo de Berios in Guanazuato.
