In Japan, on Friday morning, such a news shook everyone, which again renewed the panic in the memories of the whole country. The notorious Tak Shikaho Shirishi, named “Twitter Killer”, was hanged on social media. With this hanging, someone was given death penalty in Japan after nearly three years. Shirishi brutally killed nine people in 2017. He used to target such youth on social media who would be talking about depression or suicide. After winning his trust, he would call him his apartment, where he would kill him and cut the bodies into pieces and fill it in the fridge and plastic box.
Shirishishi rented an apartment in Jama city of Kanegawa province in August 2017 and from there he started his cruelty game. He wrote on his Twitter/X account, “Those who are really in trouble, I want to help them. Perform DM anytime.” A demon was hidden behind this emotional message, who used to take advantage of the weakness of those people and fulfill his lust and craze.
Sympathy, rape and murder
He used to say that he would help those who want to die and sometimes even talked about dying with him. But the reality was that he would seduce, raped, raped and then strangle them.
His victims included eight women and a man between the ages of 15 and 26 years. After killing everyone, he cut their bodies into pieces and hid three coolers and five big plastic storage boxes.
Parts of some bodies were also thrown into the garbage, causing the smell in the area. Neighbors suspected this smell, but the real revelation came when the brother of a 23 -year -old girl came down in search of her. With the help of a woman, he implicated Shirishi for a fake meeting and then informed the police. When the police knocked on Shirishi’s door and asked about the missing girl, he directly pointed to the freezer. The search that started in search of a girl, brought out the dreadful truth of nine bodies.
More than 400 people gathered outside the court
During interrogation, Shirishi immediately confessed his crime. He said that all the victims had met him through social media and his aim was only sexual satisfaction. He said that he used to take advantage of his mental state and won the trust first and then reached his plan. His lawyers argued in the court that it was “consent murder”, but Shirishish himself denied that he did all this only for his satisfaction.
In December 2020, when the Tokyo court sentenced Shirishi to death, more than 400 people gathered outside the court. It was one of the most frightening crimes in the history of Japan, which shook the entire country. Now that he has been hanged, it is not just the law, but also the society is a befitting reply that avoiding wolves hidden in the social media world is the biggest challenge today. Shirishi’s Twitter Bio promised help, but there was a bloody game of death hidden behind him.
