Bengaluru murder case: On Monday (June 30), a day after the body of a 40-year-old woman was found from a garbage truck in Bangalore, the capital of Karnataka, her live-in partner was arrested on charges of murder. According to police officials, it is alleged that the woman’s partner brutally murdered her during the quarrel. He said that on Sunday (June 29), the local people informed the officials of the Achuktattu police station after seeing the dead body.
The Citizen Body of Barahat Bangalore Metropolitan Municipality (BBMP) Bangalore found a sack inside a garbage truck on Sunday. The body of the woman was filled in it. During this time the woman’s hands were tied. On finding out about the case, the Bengaluru police registered a case of murder. Then started investigating the case by sending the body for postmortem. Police said there was a debate between the two which turned into a fight. During this, Asha died. It is being told that Shamshuddin strangled Asha.
CCTV identified accused
Police investigated CCTV footage and other evidence. The accused has been identified as 33 -year -old Mohammad Shamsuddin, a resident of Assam. Police said that the deceased has been identified as Asha, a resident of this area. She was living with a 33 -year -old man resident of Assam. Both worked as a housekeeping staff in a private company. According to him, both of them had rented a house in this area by describing themselves as husband and wife.
Police said that Asha returned home in a drunken state on Saturday night. After this, he had a fight with his partner. During this time there was alleged fight between them. During this time the woman died due to suffocation. Police said that after this the person tied the body of the woman and filled it in a sack. Then before Sunday morning, he was thrown into a garbage truck.
After killing his partner, Shamshuddin took the dead body on the bike and later ran away from the spot after putting him in the garbage car. The incident was recorded in the CCTV camera.
Death due to suffocation
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Lokesh B. Jagalasar told the news agency PTI, “Asha and the person had been living together for more than a year. The debate started on the night of the incident turned into a drug fighting. In such a situation, it is believed that he must have strangled him to death.

Based on the complaint of the local people, a case of murder and destroying evidence has been registered at the Achuktattu police station. After interrogation, the person has been taken into custody. According to the police, Asha was a widow. The person she was living with has been divorced before. Asha and the person have a child from their previous weddings. Police said that further investigation is being done in the case.
