Frank Sinatra was known for giving crispy $ 100-bill tips (€ 86.1) to serving employees. A long time ago when a hundred dollars had a real meaning. What are the rules for tipping today, and why are customers confused?
Many people will not think twice to carry goods through a good restaurant, hairdresser, a good bartender or porter through a busy hotel. Thesis is a position with clear, prolonged criteria in many countries.
But what about Barista in Starbucks? Or a person who takes his order on fast-food Techway window? What about a self-service kiosk?
To tip or not?
Most of the historians agree that tipping began in medieval Europe, in which servants with aristocrats or those working on their land handed gratuity.
By the 19th century, the idea was disappearing in Europe, but came to America. Later, it was again expanded worldwide.
Today, people tip for any reason: to feel better about therapy, to impress others, to help make a palltry service staff for payment or because they are asked.
Michael Lynn, a professor of marketing of services at Cornell University in the United States, says Michael Lynn said that tipping is mainly inspired by inspirations to reward server or good service.

“We have seen an explosion in the tip requests, although the amount of tip has not been changed rigid,” says Ismail Karbas, an associate professor of marketing at Kentaki’s Murray State University.

Designers have an incentive to tip the default option and make it difficult to get out of tipping. Anyone who wants to get out is forced to beat here and there to ask how to do it.
Karbas said, “More suggestions mean better income for employees, but for technical designers because they charge an angel per transaction that passes through their system.”
What do tipper really think?
A Survey by yougov In May 2023, it was done in the US, UK, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Spain and Italy that restaurants in thesis countries would tip 5–10% tip 5–10% of the Overwelling majority and not too much.

How to deal with this new tipping culture? First of all, know where you are. What is the local situation and how the employees are paid. Are they earning a minimum wage where a tip is a gratuity at the top? Or does they get very small sub-minimum wages and therefore they rely on tips to subsidize their tech-hom pay?
In some places in the US, this sub-minimum wage for tipped workers can only mean $ 2.13 (€ 1.84). To know how much people earn, while deciding, they can help what to give and how much tip.
Second, take time to understand the system. Once you know the status of local criteria and wages, you can deal with the actual tipping technique, such as calculating what the 25% button really means in the dollar and st.
Do not pressurize the group from the line of you or by a group sitting on the table with you – although it is accepted that it is the most difficult part, if it is a date, especially.
