In Spain on Monday, officials confirmed the country’s highest June temperature, as the ongoing summer wave pushed the mercury to 46 ° C (115F) on Saturday.
The record was set at Hulleva near the border with Portugal, which was at the top of the previous record of 45.2C sets in 1965 in the nearby city of Seval.
