Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar Quad has arrived in New York to get a hustle in the quad foreign ministers’ meeting. Prior to the summit, he had bilateral talks with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Ivaya, in which the Indo-Japan strategic partnership got new strength. This visit of Jaishankar is taking place on the invitation of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Quad includes India, Japan, Australia and America.
