The European Commission wants to face a trust vote next week under President Ursula von Der Leyen.
Robert Matsola, Speaker of Parliament, informed the leaders of the Parliamentary Group of Development on Wednesday evening.
European MPs want to debate the proposal on Monday, in which the vote is prescribed three days later.
