A draft bill by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius would allow the deputy cabinet and Parliament to call consults in some security conditions, the media reported.
Search may be an agreement “when the defense status is required” and not enough volunteers, news magazines mirror Said citing the 50-page text of the bill.
The bill aims to make voluntary service more attractive, with volunteers to get more than € 2,000 ($ 2.350) as official short service soldiers, mirror Said, 80% increase in current salary rates.
For the magazine, Pistorius hopes that it will encourage volunteers to live after the original training ends, as well as doubled the number of reservoirs to 200,000.
The bill does not suggest how long the basic training is to last, but the rumor is to consider a period of six months, mirror Said.
Under the new NATO guidelines, the German Bundesvehar will require 460,000 soldiers in terms of conflict.
Currently, Germany has more than 182,000 active soldiers and over 49,000 active reservoirs. Pistorius would like to see over 60,000 active soldiers and a total of 200,000 reservoirs.
Many of Pistorius’s Social Democratic Party (SPD), especially its youth wing, oppose the re -production of compulsory military service, advocated by many conservative politicians, and the bill seen as an agreement puts two attitudes at stake.
Germany suspended the mandatory military service in 2011.
