The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) announced the latest addition to its list of world heritage sites nominated during an annual meeting in Paris on Saturday.
Many sites in Germany were added to the list, namely, the palace and residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria (1845–1886).
Built in separate historical styles in the 1800s and was not infamous as a fictional when there was no crazy waste of money at that time, the sites have tour tourist magnets for about 140 years.
There is no doubt in the UNESCO design that will increase the number of people visiting sites. Some 1.7 million persons, many of them visited the palace in 2024.
In the southern German state of Bavaria, politicians have fought for the designation for a quartet of a quartet.
Known worldwide – large parts were added to the use of Noshavenstein as a model for various palaces of Disney Corporation, as well as to surround the image of the palace with alpine forests and surround it – Neshwanstein Castle, Herreshema Palace, Linderhoff Castle and Kings Houses were added to Saturday.
Maria Bohmar, chairman of the German UNESCO Commission, said, “The inclusion of palaces on the World Heritage List is a tribute to influential places.”
“They are all architectural masterpases and witness to artistic imagination, but therefore the story is the king’s uniqueness.”
Prior to Saturday, there were 54 UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Germany. Globally, there are some 1,223 World Heritage sites in 168 different countries.
