Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla And their Acim-4 mission team is returning to Earth from the international space station on July 14, 2025. His mission was 14 days, in which Shubhanshu Shukla was representing India. He became the second Indian to go to space after Rakesh Sharma in 1984. They will return from the Dragon spacecraft, which will separate from ISS at 4.30 pm on 14 July and will land in the Pacific Ocean near the California coast on 15 July at 3 pm.

This dragon vehicle is associated with the hormony module of ISS. It will be thoroughly investigated before the return. Under the leadership of American astronaut Paigi Whitson Shubhanshu Shukla And the entire team will do it. It will be decided that there will be no air leakage between the vehicle and the ISS, samples of more than 60 scientific experiments, including essential items and personal goods, will be secured so that they do not swim in microgravity.

400 km distance, then why 22 hours?

The separation of ISS of dragon vehicle will be automatic, but astronauts will monitor it. The final decision of Go or No-Go will be taken with mission control. Power and data cables will be disconnected and 12 latches will open. 12 Drako Threster of Dragon will be zero, allowing the vehicle to gradually away from ISS. This will be followed by the departure burn one, which will take the vehicle away from ISS.

The process of coming down from space is delayed because it is not like walking on a straight road or flying in the sky. ISS revolves around the earth at a speed of about 28,000 km/h. It will be dangerous to reduce this speed completely, so the vehicle is gradually de-arbitored first, which is a time consuming and extremely cautious process. During this time, when entry into the Earth’s atmosphere, the angle and speed should be accurate, otherwise the vehicle may burn. During this time the speed is controlled and slow.

The class changes in several stages

As soon as the spacecraft is separated from ISS, the classes are changed in several stages so that the vehicle can enter the Earth’s atmosphere from the right direction and height. While entering the Earth’s atmosphere, there is also a lot of heat and friction on the vehicle. Then the speed of the vehicle from the parachute system is gradually reduced so that its landing can be safely in the sea. This entire phase also takes several hours. After getting into the water, it takes time to remove astronauts from the vehicle and bring medical examination to a safe place.

After this, astronauts are placed in the rehab program according to the period of their space journey. In this program designed by NASA, the body of astronauts is made normal according to the gravity of the earth. Shubhanshu Shukla and his team will be allowed to go home after a 7 -day rehab program.
