Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelanski announced on Monday that he had asked Yulia Seviradenco to become the new Prime Minister.
Zelansky wrote on X, “I have proposed that Yulia Savidenco leads the Ukraine government and renews its work significantly. I look forward to presenting the new government’s action plan in the near future.”
Yulia Seviridenco is currently Ukraine’s economy minister, this year her role in the media is becoming particularly prominent because the mineral deal was eventually signed by the US and Ukraine.
A television spat between the US and Ukraine leaders in Washington ended the discussion on the deal in February, when the agreement was original.
But Svyrydenko is credited as a person traveling to Washington immediately after spat to work.
Why has Ukraine elected a new Prime Minister?
Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelansky has come to his cabinet as Ukraine tried to shut down the Russian forces for a fan year and continue to stop.
Zelancesi announced during a meeting of leaders in Rome last week that he was considering converting his current ambassador into America.
“We are first through weapons, in terms of strengthening a person (as an American ambassador) and the most import cheese – first through weapons.
But other names have also been swimming for a job for the next ambassador of the country in the US, and a final decision is pending.
What else do we know about svyrydenko?
Svyrydenko is 39 years old and has organized several positions in the state administration of the Chernihiv region in the north, where she was born.
She quickly rose through ranks and became the Deputy Chief of the President’s Office, and in 2021, became the Minister of Economy and Deputy Prime Minister.
Svyrydenko would replace the Hollen Dennis Shamihal, which was appointed as the Prime Minister of the country in 2020.
Before stepping into the role, his candidature will have to be approved by the Ukraine’s Parliament.
Once approved, she will sing the second female Prime Minister of Ukraine after Yulia Tayamenko, who led the country in the years after the 2004 orange revolution.
