Puma and Manchester City extend partnership

Together they want to continue to develop innovative products and address the growing worldwide fan base of the club. Puma CEO Arthur Hoeld emphasized the great success of the collaboration-both sporty and commercially. The highlights include winning the triplet in the 2022/23 season, four Premier League titles in a row as well as several cup wins among men and the women’s team. Manchester City’s young teams also celebrated great success, including several titles in the Premier League 2 and the FA Youth Cup. Commercially, Puma and Manchester City have set up new records in global club sales and designed iconic jerseys together, such as the home jersey inspired by Colin Bell in the triple season. City Football Group CEO Ferran Soriano sees the partnership as an important success factor and emphasizes the close integration of puma into the club structure and the common perspective.

Both partners were also innovative with marketing campaigns such as the first jersey in the meta verse via Roblox and a jersey designed by fans using AI. The Puma subsidiary Stichd runs the official Manchester City online shop and has opened several city stores worldwide. The expansion of the global branch network, including with a new flagship store on the Etihad Campus, is planned. Manchester City Pumas also supports sustainability initiatives, such as the recycling project Re: Fibre, with which all replica jerseys have been made from recycled materials since 2024. Puma is also a partner of other clubs of the City Football Group, including Melbourne City, Girona, Mumbai City and Bahia.
