More than 14 million children were completely unnatural in 2024, the United Nations said on Tuesday.

The World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF said in a joint report, in Europe and Central Asia, the average childhood vaccination rate undergoes 1%or fur 1%.

Officials warned that widely misinformation and serious international aid cut coverage are winning intervals, putting millions of children at risk.

Rising diseases in Europe

In Europe, in 2024 cough cases increased to around 300,000, while measles infection exceeded 125,000, which said in the coverage of vaccines.

Meanwhile, only nine countries – Nigeria, India, Sudan, Democratic Republic of CongoEthiopia, Indonesia, Yemen, Afghanistan and Angola – were responsible for more than half of the world’s unique children.

“Millions of children live without protection from preventive diseases,” UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell said in a statement. “We all should worry about this.”

The health report comes at a time when the WHO has declared measles from the United States 25 years after, the country is the worst year for disease.

The US now has 1,288 measles cases in 2025 as the vaccine-pre-disease spreads, the disease control and prevention center last week.

According to the United Nations, vaccines prevent 3.5 million to 5 million deaths in a year.
