America introduced a new drone Lucas like Shahd of Iran

Washington: On 16 July 2025, a new drone was introduced by Pentagon, which caught the attention of defense experts and technology experts from all over the world. The new drone developed by the US Arizona -based Defense Company Spectreworks is the ‘low cost anchru combat attack system (LUCAS). When the picture of this drone came out, it felt as if it is the Shahd drone of Iran. The Shahd drone of Iran is being used by Russia in the Russia-Ukraine war that has been going on for the last three years. Iranian Shahd-136 drone has helped Russia to carry out continuous air strikes against Ukraine, while the US has now shown a cheap, light and mission-friendly combat drone to the world on the same lines.

Many people on the social media platform X claimed that Lucas looks like Shahd-136 of Iran and Geran-2 drones in Russia. Russian news websites also taunted this and said that ‘this is a drone made by American startup, but its design looks completely like Irani Shahd’. However, there is also speculation that Ukraine achieved a drone of Russia and then gave it to America. Later, the American company made it by reverse engineering Iran’s drone. It is also believed that these cheap drones will be supplied to Ukraine on a large scale.
