Kiev has accused Moscow of “weapons” exile after vacating 43 Ukrainian citizens from the Georgian holding site.
Kiev says that most of the most prisoners were expelled from Russia, which was after completing their sentences in the facility of a basement near the Georgia-Russian border.
On Saturday, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andree Sibiha said 43 persons were evacuated from Georgia via Moldova.
Writing on X, Sibi said that most of them had brought homes, among them, among them, political prisoners, among the Andrey Colomites, were stripped of their identity documents and left hundreds of miles from Ukraine in “difficult” situations.
Maria Belkina, who heads the volunteers Tabilisi – a group helping Ukrainian refugees in Georgia – called the conditions on the border detection site, with only 17 beds, “inhuman.”
“They are without basic requirements – food, water, hygiene,” Belkina told the French AFP news agency, “Some exempteds had medical conditions, including suspected tuberculosis and HIV.”
External Affairs Minister Sibiha wrote in his X post, “Since June, Russia has greatly increased the number of Ekrainian Nationals exempted Ukrainian Nationals to most former convicts with Georgia.
Kiev has requested that Moscow disorganized the citizens in Ukraine instead of the third country.
Rights groups say that more than 800 Ukrainian citizens may be deported in the coming weeks.
