A female brown bear, known as JJ4 or Gaia, killed a Jogar in Italy in 2023, was transferred to a wildlife sanctuary in Germany.
This step follows legal battles and protests, bear-moolas after being beer-oely at the center of debate on the struggle of human-western life.
How is the bear?
The animal reached the Black Forest District of Freedenstad in alternative Wolf and Bear Park on Sunday morning.

Why did JJ4 go?

JJ4 is expected to receive a new name, as “Gaia” is already assigned to another animal in the park.
Park officials say the monitoring system will monitor the bear activity as it adjusts in its new environment.
