The french parliament definitively passed on tuesday, July 8, the controversial dupplumb agriculture law, presented as a responsible to the anger of farmers during the winter of 2024. The Bill Aims to Simplify The Work of Farmers, Who Are Portrayed as Overwhelmed by Environmental Regulations. It notably seeks to facilitate the construction of mega-reservoirs-Large water storage facilities used for irrigation-as well as the creation or expansion of intensive livestock farming buildings.
