Rexor concludes with barefoot shoe day

The Rexor barefoot shoe day took place for the second time in January at the Rexor office in Düsseldorf on Sunday, July 20, after the debut in January. 31 brands were distributed with barefoot shoes on the premises of the group group. Including the new barefoot shoe brand Qnuffs by the children’s shoe manufacturer Ricosta, whose collection was first seen at an order event. Dealers from 75 houses accepted the invitation to get an idea of the new collections. Niek JansenManaging Director of the Rexor, explains: “We want to get opportunities to bring dealers and manufacturers together. Whether this is the big trade fair or like a small, focused event is not so important. The great interest shows that we offer something that the market needed. And in my opinion, blaming groups are not there. We are not the biggest or best but accessible solutions.” The event also sees the trade as a sensible addition to the seasonal calendar. Anna Heimann From the children’s shoe shop in Potsdam reports: “I think the event has its purpose because it is really only about one topic. Of course it is also an appointment again, but you can make a concentrated impression here, exchange ideas and have the experts on site here.”

Two topics have dominated fashionably. On the one hand, it is welcome to become more colorful, on the other hand, many barefoot shoe customers ask about natural materials and looks, reports Maximilian Hundhammer From the Doghammer brand: “Many barefoot shoe customers are also interested in sustainable shoes and natural materials. We can serve this well with our shoes made of wool or linen.” The Doghammer managers also prove that a barefoot variant can be made of every shoe type: “Our barefoot shoes for hiking with merino wool instead of membranes are very much in demand in mid-May for the first time and is already sold out.”

The next edition of the Rexor Barfoot Schuhtag will take place on January 18, 2026 with the collections for H/W 2026/27.
