According to his own statement, Joe Nimble is the world’s first running shoe manufacturer to integrate the hallux angle of digital measurement into the purchase process. Now the application was designed more intuitively together with Footprint Technologies. The scan was integrated directly into the online shop.
The hallux measurement is now part of the footprint function, with which the shoe size can also be determined. The user has to place the foot on a DIN A4 page as a reference size and scan with the cell phone camera. As a result, the app then shows the shoe size and the hallux angle. “Only those who know their status can improve it,” says Sebastian Bär, founder and CEO by Joe Nimble. “That is why we recommend a regular measurement every three months-similar to a fitness check. Because with the right equipment, the hallux angle can improve over time.”
