US President Donald Trump on Tuesday accused former President Barack Obama of “treason” without providing evidence.

Trump cited his intelligence chief Tulsi Gabbard, who on Friday disintegrated the documents who reportedly showed how the Obama administration prepared a basis for an investigation in Russian intervention in the 2016 presidential election.

“This is there, he is guilty. It was treason,” Trump said in the Oval Office on Tuesday.

Trump claimed, “He tried to steal the election, he tried to obstruct the election. He did so that no one ever imagined in other countries.”

Trump’s comment was when he faced questions from journalists about the department of the Department of Justice to interview Jeffrey Epstein’s girlfriend Ghhishlain Maxwell, who were convicted of helping the financial sexual abuse girls and is now serving a jail sentence.

Obama’s office slam ‘bizarre’ deflection

The former president’s office later stated with a statement that Trump’s “bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt to distraction.”

“But thesis’s claims are derogatory to a qualification.”

The 2017 assessment of the American intelligence community concluded that Russia used social media disintegration, hacking and bot fields to damage Democrat Hillary Clinton’s President’s campaign and Bolt Trump. But the same assessment determined that the effect was probably limited and there was no evidence that Russia’s efforts excluded the election.
