New Planet Found: NASA’s Tess Space Telescope has discovered 35 light years away L 98–59 F, which can be compatible with life. This planet is circling around the red dwarf stars L 98–59.

Highlights
- Scientists discovered 35 light year.
- L 98–59 f planet can be suited to life
- L 98–59 F planet revolves around the red dwarf stars
According to the report of the Daily Mail, according to Charles Cadiu, lead researcher at the Trotier Institute for Research on Exoplanets, ‘It is very encouraging to find a planet suitable for life in such a compact system. This shows how many diverse and unique planets can be in the universe. Scientists claim that L. 98–59 F gets the same energy from its star as the earth gets from the sun and the same thing keeps it in the ‘Habitable Zone’, that is, there is a possibility of liquid water to remain there.
How was the planet discovered?
This star was discovered in the year 2019 and in the beginning it was confirmed to have four planets. But now on analyzing the data deeply, scientists have discovered a fifth planet. This is L 98–59 F which does not see directly to us, but its presence was recorded through the change in the speed of the star.
There are unique planets in this system
From ‘Super-Arth’ to ‘Water World’
The team behind this discovery now wants to use NASA’s most powerful telescope, James Web Space Telescope, to understand this entire system further. Rene Dion, who is involved in this research, says, ‘Now we can ask the questions whose answers can take us closer to the discovery of life. What are the super-meaning and sub-napachunes made of? Does the formation of planets around small wires different?
