Iran executes two members of the exile terrorist group – DW – 07/27/2025

On Sunday, according to the official news outlet of the judiciary, Mizan, Iran killed two people accused of working for the disgruntled organization Mujahideen-e-Khal (MeK).

Mehdi Hasani and Behruz Isani-Salamlu were found guilty of attacking the citizen infrastructure on the stalf of the exile.

He was convicted of constructing and using homemade projects to target houses, public buildings and charitable institutions in Tehran.

What two people were found guilty?

The judiciary said that they are operated from a safe house and have filmed their activities for make-linked media.

“Terrorists, in coordination with MeK leaders, established a team house in Tehran, where they made launchers and hand -holding mortars to suit the goals of the group, carefully fired the pro -project on citizens, homes, service and administrative facilities, educational and charity center, and so fulfilled the activities to collect publicity and information in support of the make.”

Both were found guilty of waging war against God, armed rebellion, and conspiracy to reduce national security. The Supreme Court upheld its death sentence.

What is Mek?

Mek, a leftist Islamist group, has been nominated by Iran as a terrorist organization. The US and the European Union labeled it as a terrorist organization by 2012.

Mek opposes the Islamic Republic in Iran, even its leadership operates in exile.

According to human rights groups, Iran ranks second in the world in implementing capital punishment.
